to use qr.cx do the following:

• to shorten a URL enter http://qr.cx/[LONG-URL] (e.g.: http://qr.cx/http://example.org/my-very-long-url-i-need-to-shorten)
  the url you get has the following format: http://qr.cx/[CODE] ([CODE] is currently 3 characters long; e.g.: http://qr.cx/gYW)
• to resolve a URL we shortened or to get the QR-code, enter: http://qr.cx/CODE/get (e.g.: http://qr.cx/gYW/get)

we will not shorten urls from other urlshorteners.
you may need to escape some chars! ('?' to '%3F'; '#' to '%23'; space to '%20';)
